FAQs

Considering putting your P&C license to work with Omni? Here are answers to a few common questions about the contract, requirements, and what to expect.

Yes. This opportunity is designed for licensed Property & Casualty insurance professionals. You’ll need an active license that meets the requirements for the contract you’re interested in. Additional state licensing requirements may apply depending on the client.

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. As an independent contractor, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to choose your schedule within client availability while remaining responsible for your own taxes and business expenses.

It depends. Many independent contractors maintain other professional commitments, but eligibility may vary based on client requirements, licensing regulations, and any agreements you already have in place. Be sure to review your current employment or agency contracts before applying.

You’ll need a Windows 11 computer that meets the technical requirements for the contract, a reliable hard-wired internet connection, a USB headset, and a quiet workspace. Some insurance contracts may also require dual monitors or additional equipment.

Responsibilities vary by contract, but opportunities may include helping customers understand coverage options, answering policy questions, assisting with policy servicing, and guiding customers toward insurance products that fit their needs while delivering a positive customer experience.

Omni may be a perfect if you:

Already hold an active Property & Casualty license

Enjoy helping customers understand coverage

Like working toward sales goals

Want the flexibility of working remotely

Are comfortable working independently

But it may not be if you:

Are looking for a traditional W-2 employee position

Prefer face-to-face or in-office sales

Don't currently hold an active P&C license

Are uncomfortable working toward sales goals

Prefer a fixed schedule set by an employer
