Omni Platform Overview – US

1. Working as a Customer Service Independent Contractor

Working as an independent contractor for Omni Interactions means you have the flexibility to choose your own work hours, work from the comfort of your home, and provide customer service for a variety of clients. You are your own boss, responsible for your performance and meeting client needs, while enjoying the freedom to balance work with your personal life.

3. Computer Skills Required

Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute

  • Proficient in computer navigation
  • Toggling between screens
  • Basic keyboard functions
  • Able to use a mouse

4. Home Office Requirements

  • Fully Updated PC running Windows
  • 11 (Windows 10 and Apple Computers may be accepted by some clients)
  • 1.60 GHz Processor + 4 GB RAM
  • A hard-wired, high-speed internet connection. No satellite, Wi-Fi, or mobile home internet (T-Mobile, Verizon, etc) connections accepted.
  • 10 Mbps download + 5 Mbps upload
  • Corded USB headset

5. Paperwork Required*

  • MSA: Master Services Agreement
  • SOW: Statement of Work
  • W-9: provide tax information to Omni

*Forms will be sent to you electronically once client registration is complete and successful.

6. Verify Your Identity

  • Omni will validate your identity
  • Must have a valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID
  • Validate your identity matches all your personal information

7. Background Check

  • $40 background check fee*
  • Multiple background checks may be required.
  • Background fee goes to our partner, not to Omni.
  • You pay a portion ($40); Omni covers the rest of the background cost.
  • Select clients require a drug test.
  • Use ONLY Omni’s partnered vendor and provided links for background checks and drug tests.
  • Tax deductible.
  • Your business must cover this expense.

*Paid every 6 months if required

8. Service Commitment

Hours Scheduled:

  • Must schedule your hours 2 weeks in advance

 

Hours Worked:

  • Omni Business Model expectation is 18 hours per week scheduled and worked.
  • During times of increased or decreased client demand, the business expectation will vary.
  • Omni will notify you when the client demand changes as soon as possible so you can meet the business need.

9. Commitment Adherence

Calculation of the % of hours you scheduled vs hours you worked.

Omni business model expectation is 95% commitment adherence.
