Here’s what you need to know:

• Scammers pretending to offer work-from-home jobs ask you to open a new bank account. They’ll say it’s “just for your paychecks” or “to make payroll easier.”
  
  
• Next, they ask you to move your own money into the new account and give them the login details.
  
  
• Once they have access, they drain your funds and disappear.

No legitimate opportunity will ever ask you to move your own money or open new bank accounts to get paid. If someone does, it’s a scam.
